Seeking Dancers! Helen Pickett's Choreographic Essentials including Forsythe Improvisation Technologies 1/21-1/26
Choreographic Essentials by Helen Pickett, is an immersive and exceptional professional development workshop/performance opportunity that is geared for the professional dancer and professional aspirant. A 6-day intensive that is focused upon Forsythe Improvisational Technologies, as taught by Ms. Pickett (former lead dancer, Ballet Frankfurt; international choreographer); and daily technique class with Stuart Loungway (former San Francisco Ballet; Artistic Director, Terra Firma Dance Theater).
Following morning development sessions, exclusive break-out sessions, designed to develop, cultivate and expand the compositional/ choreographic and performance skill-sets of the participants, will comprise the afternoon.
The program is now extending an invitation to professional and professional aspirant dancers, ages 16-28.
Space is limited to an exclusive group of 15 participants, so early registration is encouraged.
Participants will be considered for future employment and creative opportunities with Terra Firma Dance Theatre and Helen Pickett (international choreographer).
