Seeking Male Performers

Treehouse Shakers, a NYC based non-profit dance-theater company, is seeking additional male company members. We are seeking talented performers who are easy to work with, enjoy the creative process, take directions well, are dependable, and enjoy working as a company. Our works for young people are critically acclaimed, intertwine a theatrical script with movement and are created to build future audience members, as well as lovers of imagination and artistic expression. We are keeping our current company members, just looking to add members as we continue to book performances.

Seeking a male actor who has acting and dance experience. Puppeteers also encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone to join the company for spring productions of Hatched: Life on the Farm, with the potential for future performances. Also seeking one male dancer who can act for Under the Tangle, and has the potential to join future performances as the swing. Rehearsals are non-negotiable and are Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. Additional rehearsals may be added if necessary. Auditions will be held in the evening of January 29, 2012 (5:30-7:00) & and morning of January 31, 2012 (10-11:30) Performance Pay and Rehearsal stipend. Check out www.treehouseshakers.com, to read more about our company and the above productions.  If interested, please send a headshot and resume to contactus@treehouseshakers.com.
