Third Annual Brooklyn Dance Festival 2014 Seeking Emerging Choreographers

Brooklyn Dance Festival is in its third annual presentation.  Last year's performances sold out!  Brooklyn Dance Festival is now seeking upcoming emerging choreographers and youth ensembles to present at the 2014 Brooklyn Dance Festival.

The artists presented at the festival are risk takers, innovators and dedicated to challenging the boundaries and definitions of concert dance. Brooklyn Dance Festival brings an eclectic and diverse roster of talent to Brooklyn - creating new dance audiences, introducing new talent to the borough of Brooklyn and fostering relationships between the two. This season more than 200 dancers and varied genres (a roster of ten companies in each performance) will perform original choreography and share unique storytelling with the audience. Company performance styles include contemporary, street jazz, modern and tap/hoofing.
