Astoria Fine Arts Dance (AFA), Astoria, NY's #1 dance studio, seeks a skilled and experienced grant writer to assist with the company's development initiatives for the upcoming year. The grant writer will work with AFA's directors to research and apply to appropriate organizations.

The successful applicant will have excellent grant research skills, a background in dance, and will be able to demonstrate a history of success for other dance and/or arts organizations. Candidate must be organized, sensitive to deadlines, and have exellent writing and communication skills. 

This is a freelance opportunity; pay will be competitive and dependent on level of experience.
