Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh Dance Company in Washington D.C. is recruiting strong male and female dancers with a solid background in modern and/or ballet for a summer residency, June 15-July 20, possibly followed by an 18-month contract.   Summer residency is a restaging of Anna Sokolow's iconic modern dance works, staged by Lory May, former principal dancer and currently director of the Sokolow Dance Foundation.   The Company performs a rep that ranges from Soklolow to dances influenced by Bharata Natyam Indian Dance.   Please send resume and picture, and video clips if you have any, to info@dakshina.org ASAP
