Artistic Director Jennifer Weber of award winning hip hop dance company, Decadancetheatre, (www.decadancetheatre.com) is seeking a production intern for The Hip Hop Nutcracker at The United Palace Theater in NYC and NJPAC in Newark this holiday season.  The Hip Hop Nutcracker is a full length hip-hop dance theatre piece set to the original Tchaikovsky  score.    

Internship Dates: Oct 7-Nov 1 pre-production, Nov 12-Dec 7, rehearsals and performances.

This is a hands on internship suitable for a recent grad who is interested in seeing how a production goes from idea to stage.  Responsibilities will range from taking rehearsal notes, scheduling meetings, running social media for the production and communicating with multiple departments (creative, marketing, promotion, venues, etc.).

Excellent research, writing, and organization skills are essential.
