~ Make A Smile Happen (MASH) is a volunteer dance company thatoffers free dance performances and dance workshops at partner outreach facilities, such as children’s hospitals, orphanages, veterans homes, and nursing homes throughout Northern New Jersey. Our program provides fun, positive, creative, and uplifting activities for the sick and the elderly as MASH believes in the healing power of the human spirit via the performing arts. Our monthly dance shows and workshops spread happiness and light to audiences and instill within them an incredible sense of hope, courage, strength, love, and spirit!

Being a MASH volunteer requires:
• Weekly or bi-monthly outreach participation, (generally 2 to 3 hours), depending on your availability and volunteer schedule.
• At least 2 monthly rehearsals.
• A love of dance.
• A positive attitude and a desire to bring joy to others.
