JV Squad & Designated Movement Company seek an energetic and detail-oriented Intern to assist with their creation of a new Nutcracker to be performed at the Knockdown Center December 12, 13 & 14. This Nutcracker stars world-famous dancers Valda Setterfield, Lisa Lockwood, Gary Chryst, Kaitlyn Gilliland and Pierre Guilbault.

You will report directly to the Artistic Directors Katie Rose McLaughlin & Joshua William Gelb, as well as the artistic collaborators. Applicants must possess excellent time management and organizational skills, be responsible and able to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include assisting with Fundraising, Marketing & PR, and with all Events & Performances. Skills & Experience needed proficient in social media platforms, Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs, ability to effectively use the internet for research, strong written and communication skills. Prior internships or other work experience in the arts is preferred.
