New Dance Cinema is back and looking for the next hot filmmakers and the newest exciting works in dance film. 

 

Seeking films that:

- use the camera as a choreographic tool

- are up to 7 minutes long

- have a strongly engaging cinematic concept

- are shot on location

 

New Dance Cinema is a new film series that showcases directors on the forefront of cinematic dance. Though dance films have been around for decades, New Dance Cinema taps into the new and exciting ways that directors and choreographers are conceiving movement on film and telling stories in ways that only the body can tell. Join notable filmmakers and performers who are pushing this medium into new possibilities.
