Moving bodies and the camera have always shared an ongoing, dynamic conversation. Movies By Movers is an annual festival dedicated to the celebration of the conversation between the body and the camera.

Submissions for the 6th annual Movies By Movers Film Festival open January 15th and close April 27th. MBM seeks short films of any style (experimental, documentary, nerrative) with a strong movement component. Professional works may be up to 15 minutes in length. Student works may be up to 6 minutes in length. Chosen works will screen in September of 2015 at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts on the campus of Appalachian State University.
