TOWN SQUARE is a volunteer community-based 501(c)(3) organization serving Brooklyn since 2005.  We’re responsible for many recurring family events in Greenpoint and Williamsburg including our McGolrick Egg Hunt, SummerStarz movie series, Pumpkin Day and Greenpoint Children's Halloween Parade & Party.  We brought the world-renown Moscow Circus for its first performance in Greenpoint in 2008 and recently partnered with Chess NYC to offer awesome chess camps in Greenpoint/Williamsburg.  We also offer fun and informative expos and fairs: Brooklyn Babyfest, Go Green! Greenpoint, NYC PTA Expo, and Schoolfest.  

We are now looking for a Community Organizer/Event Planner to be the key person for our informational expos, starting with Go Green! Greenpoint. 

ABOUT YOU

You are an all around organizer who wants to be involved with the communities of Williamsburg and Greenpoint.  You have a passion for creating community events and are dedicated to improving the quality of our neighborhood.  You have experience producing successful events with many vendors and organizations.  You keep careful track of all details and never drop the ball. You are dedicated, reliable, outgoing and ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.
