Gotham Dance Theater - Male Auditions

Gotham Dance Theater is seeking 1-2 male dancers for the remainder of their inaugural 2015-16 season. 

Audition and call back will be invite only. 

Please submit resume, headshot and video links to GothamDanceTheater@gmail.com. 

Audition will take place during Master Class on Friday, June 26 from 12pm-2pm at DANY Studios (Studio 4). There is a $10 fee (regular class rate is $15). 

Call back will be held the following Friday, July 3 (time and location TBD). No fee. 

Must possess proficient dance technique including contemporary, ballet, jazz and hip-hop. Must also demonstrate strong stage presence. Must be 18 years or older. All ethnicities encouraged. 

Compensation is provided based on production.

Gotham Dance Theater (GDT) is a New York not-for-profit organization founded and directed by Marc Andrew Nunez and board members Mitchell VanLandingham and Jessica Rabanzo-Flores. GDT is an urban contemporary dance company emphasizing storytelling through movement influenced by contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip-hop and theatre. All proceeds go toward artist stipends, rehearsal and class spaces, and the advancement of GDT. 

GDT premiered in May 2015 with "Fade to Black" to a two night sold out run at The Tank in Times Square. GDT also hosts weekly Company Class and monthly Master Class. Please visit www.gothamdancetheater.com for more information.
