Loud Places Audition

Location : Mark Morris Dance Center, 3 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY
Seeking : 6-8 male dancers any race or ethnicity with a strong technical foundation.
Work dates: July 14 - 28th, 2015

Includes all rehearsals, 3 performances (1 in Long Beach and 2 in Los Angeles) and a video shoot.  Rehearsing approximately 8 hours per day July 14-21st and 25, performances on July 22nd, 26th, and 28th.  Video shoot July 27-28th.

Airfare will be provided for dancers based out of NY.

Contemporary dance choreographer Andrew Winghart, known for his intricate staging patterns and keen musical ear, presents his newest work Loud Places.  Set on 8 men and 2 women, Loud Places follows the deeply-rooted journey of an individual confronting and coming to terms with the entirety of their self.  It is an exploration of self-discovery that seeks to capture life in all its capacity - the crippling lows to the towering highs.
