The Dance Art Video screening is a monthly event held at Otion Front Studio, a center for performance and exploration located in Brooklyn, New York. We show films both from invited artists and open submissions, curated by a rotating team member.

HEAT-SEEKING :: The theme for this month's video screening is "Heat-seeking (behavior)" - like Tinder, like guided missiles, cold-blooded reptilian sun-worshippers, capable of detecting invisible frequencies; as always, interpret poetically. We will be taking submissions until August 16th. Videos should be between 2-5 minutes in length.

In search of : videos about dance, of dance, to do with physicality that were made for film. A variety of low and high production values. Films that are interesting to watch.

Not in search of : documentation of other dances unedited, single takes of improv disregarding the prompt, etc.
