One night Cabaret production slated for Monday November 2, 2015 is currently seeking submissions of contemporary dance, dance-theatre, and music performance for an evening that will combine contemporary modern performances into a cabaret setting. Seeking new/existing pieces, solos, duets, and works which could relate to the traditional cabaret aesthetic of underground, sexy, avant garde, provocative performance.  

This evening is to provide audiences with a new context in which to experience and digest contemporary performance. Location is set for the 14th St Y Theater and there will be compensation for all artistic participants. We are seeking 6 artists for this opportunity.

2) Description of the work, including how you see this relating to the idea of a cabaret. (We encourage you to be creative on this relation, and do not expect you to make any changes to the intent of your original work unless desired)
