Awaken Dance Theater is seeking male and female dancers for our upcoming Fall 2015-Spring 2016 season. Dancers of all races and ethnicities encouraged to attend.

Dancers should be strong in classical ballet, but also versatile.  Awaken Dance Theater uses contemporary,  jazz, horton, and graham-based modern from time to time.  Expressive dancers with a strong performance qualitiy and acting ability preferred.

Awaken Dance Theater will be performing at numerous venues in and around NYC.  Modest stipend is given for select performance opportunities only.  Dancers must be available for Sunday evening rehearsals. (approximately 6-10pm). 

Audition will be held on SUNDAY, August 16th from 10am-12pm.  Dancers must email their headshots and resume (and reel if available) to awakendancetheater@gmail.com to reserve a place at the audition.  Once information is emailed, dancers will be given the studio address in Manhattan.
