CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!

Atlanta Dance Collective: Seeking artist submissions for new/existing work to join our Spring 2016 performance season.

Atlanta Dance Collective strives to connect the world through dance. We pursue creative distinction and social pertinency by creating vital new works, collaborating with new artists, and serving our community through our practice.

ADC will be producing our season concert entitled Time + Itinerant this spring in downtown Atlanta, GA. We are looking for 2 works (new or existing) from emerging choreographers/companies to be included in our program this year! All submissions go through adjudication by a panel of dance professionals.

Where: Synchronicity Theatre

When: March 25th and 26th, 2016

Specifications for Submissions:

-Must be within the realm of contemporary/modern/ballet/postmodern dance.

-No longer than 15 minutes in length.

-The concert is entitled Time + Itinerant. We are looking for work that fits within this overall concept. Can be a unique or abstract interpretation.

-Can be existing or proposed work

 Chosen works will receive an honorarium at the close of the show. *Please note our collective is Atlanta based and seeks to build the community of dance in Atlanta. Preference will be given to Atlanta-based artists, however artists from other areas will be considered and are encouraged to apply!

*ADC has a limited budget and will not be able to assist with funding travel and stay for your company/dancers, however we are able to help you find cost-effective accommodations in the Atlanta area.

7. Link to footage of piece you will be submitting(rehearsal footage is fine). If submitting a proposal or piece in-progress, please send a link to rehearsal of in-progress work and/or work sample.

Application fee is $15 and can be payed via PayPal.

Deadline to submit: September 25, 2015.

ADC will notify selected choreographers by October 1, 2015.
