Emerging choreographer Katelyn Halpern is looking for one dancer to participate in a movement exploration session from 10a-12p on Thursday, Sept. 3 in downtown Jersey City (Grove St. PATH stop). The session - which will consist of improvisation and collaborative choreographic tools - will help to lay the groundwork for a new piece of multi-disciplinary work. Dancers with experience in modern dance, improvisation (including contact), weight-sharing, and inventive thinking are encouraged to apply. Compensation for this session is $15/hr. Strong creative connection may lead to more work as this project develops.
