Saroyan Ballet Company seeks MALE choreographers for our fairly new all-male ballet company.  Choreographers must be willing to work in collaboration with the artistic director for the creation of originally-written productions.  This position will include an agreement for the 2016/2017 performance season, with a possibility of agreement renewal at the end of the season.  Rehearsals will begin February 2016.  Applicants must have a flexible schedule.  This is a paid position.  However, as we are a fairly new company, compensation will vary.

Applicants must be able and willing to travel to Manhattan, as it is where rehearsals will be held.

 Qualifications:

*Strong ballet training background
*Experience and knowledge of classical ballet
*Experience working with a group of dancers, especially male ballet dancers.
*Strong commitment to working with a new ballet company
*Strong creative ability (able to think outside the box)
