Male Dancer for Immersive Nutcracker

Brooklyn-based ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater seeks male dancer for its immersive production of the Nutcracker.

Role(s): Toy Soldier, Russian, Spanish, Cavalier, Snake Charmer. Classical training and partnering experience required. Acrobatic skills and Luigi jazz background a plus.

Commitment: Dancer to be required for 6-7 rehearsals (2-3hrs each) and the Dec 20th show. Required full cast run-throughs Dec 5th, 12th and 19th from 2:15-5:15pm. Other rehearsals may be scheduled at a mutually convenient time. Call time 3:30pm on Dec 20th for 5pm show.

Compensation: $100 Project Stipend

Whether you want to deepen your practice or begin the path toward teaching, this program offers a focused, immersive experience in the foundations of the classical Pilates method. Aline will be accepting a small, intimate group to ensure personalized guidance and support throughout the training.  Schedule (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) • June 20–21 — Beginner Mat • July 25–26 — Intermediate Mat  Location: 236 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231  Investment: $450 per weekend  You do not need to commit to both weekends—you are welcome to choose the session that best fits your goals.
