Call for Choreographers for KoDaFe in NYC International Dance Festival

Call for Choreographers for KoDaFe in NYC International Dance Festival Jiwon Choi

We are accepting applications of work for our 4th annual KoDaFe in NYC International Dance Festival!!

We are holding KoDaFe in NYC 2016 at The Ailey Citigroup Theater on June 21st at 7:30pm.

About KoDaFe in NYC..

The KoDaFe in NYC brings different dance companies together to share the same stage which is a vital part of this cultural exchange program. As part of our cultural exchange program, i KADA would like to connect and have a relationship with as many dance companies and artists through the festival to forge strong bonds for the future.

KoDaFe in NYC has a specific theme attached to the works. The theme of this year’s festival is “Chum Janchi“ meaning "Dance Party" in Korean. We are different because we are born into different cultures, with different backgrounds. With the spirit of cultural exchange, we are seeking to work with as many different artists from different backgrounds and fuse the world of dance with music, painting, photography and cinematography.

i KADA is dedicated to working with dancers that have love, passion and technical ability regardless of race, genre, or age.

This year we are accepting applications from all dance genres i.e Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Traditional dance, we are looking forward to sharing the stage with a great range of dance performers, to celebrate "Chum Janchi" as one!
