Hello lovelies,

Immersive Gallery is looking for dancers with advanced ballet technique to choreograph/shoot with.  

My work is called motion biomechanics and is a form of therapeutic movement based on osteopathic medical models, feldenkrais, iyengar yoga, and neuroscience.

We will spend the first half of class distinguishing anatomy articulations and physiology functions like neuromuscular lines, organ shapes, weight distribution, gravity, and developmental movement. Then, re-examine classical dance forms with this information to access unique, deep, connected, complex lines…you as choreographers get to make combinations from the distinctions adding your own embellishments and character decisions.

We will film each class. If you cannot make rehearsal, then you will be responsible for watching it on your own time with no pay.  

Auditions will be held at Immersive Gallery 132 bedford avenue williamsburg between n9/10
Thursday, April 28th @ 6:30pm-8:00pm
Friday, April 29th @ 10:00am-11:30am
Saturday, April 30th @ 11am

Call backs first week of May.

We will be developing this piece in a 2 week period prior to May 21st.

Class/rehearsal workshop beginning Monday, May 9th.




The performance will be held on May 21st with a Classical and Modern Chamber Music and percussion ensemble @ Immersive Gallery in Williamsburg including:

$20 per class/rehearsal
$200 per performance evening
Corps du ballet
$10 per class/rehearsal
$100 performance evening
