HOUSE OF DUENDE™ is a brand new dance studio / creative space in the heart of Spanish Harlem, NYC (165 E 111th St btwn 3rd & Lexington Ave).  Artistic Director / Founder, Arielle Rosales, is a professional Flamenco dancer / choreographer / educator born and raised in New York City.  Duende, in the conext of Flamenco culture, is one's "inner spirit"; the magical force that lives within your gut that influences your Art. House of Duende™ is a home for all creatives from all walks of life to come and share their duende.  Our GRAND OPENING is Saturday, MAY 28th; an all day event including free community dance classes, professional development seminar, panel discussion on the concept of duende, venders, raffle giveaways, freestyle master class led by Pierce Cady (featured dancer with Miley Cyrus' Dead Petz Tour, Justin Bieber's "The Feeling"), performances, and ending with a full out jam session with a mix of dancers & musicians of various backgrounds!  The purpose of the studio is to promote artistic collaboration, create opportunities for the community, and celebrate & embrace each other's cultures. 

We are a grass roots organization with tons of Heart & Duende, and we are looking for likeminded individuals who believe in the mission to be part of our team / family to build towards our Grand Opening onward!  This is a volunteer basis with compensation in complimentary dance classes & free rehearsal space.  By the end of July, we will be hiring (paid) administrative assistants & staff members; volunteers will get priority consideration, if interested.
