The Musical “Definition of a Man” is the story of three men, Noel, Trent, and Leslie. They all live on the same block in three Brownstones next to each other on Decatur St. in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.  They’re in different stages of their lives and are dealing with their own trials and tribulations within their individual relationships. Noel is a successful business and married man with a loving and successful wife in her own right, Viola. They have two daughters and are recently dealing with his mother’s death and the disappearance of his father. Trent is a married Police Officer with a supportive wife, Maritza. They have a one year old son named after him. Trent suffers from one thing, womanizing. Leslie is a successful music producer but unsuccessful in love.

The lives that define these three Men clash and blend into a musical story told through the songs of Gerald Levert enhanced with Choreography. The songs are performed mostly by the three male leads.  Choral parts will be sung by other cast members and the Ensemble with all being accompanied by a Band.
