ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater is seeking male and female dancers for a Sept 25th performance (1 dancer only) as well as Nutcracker (3-4 dancers). Nutcracker date TBA. Dancers do not need to be available for both shows to audition.

Dancers must be able to move fluidly through ballet, modern, and jazz styles with cunning technicality. Background in Luigi jazz a plus.

For Sept 25th: Contemporary modern in style. Dancers must be available from 3-6pm on the day of the show. For rehearsals, dancers must be available on Sept 13 from 3:30-6:30pm, Sept 14 from 7:30-9:30pm, Sept 21 from 12:00-3:30pm, and an additional rehearsal to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.

For Nutcracker: Dancers must work well with children. Available roles include Sugar Plum (female, pointe required), Russian (male), Dew Drop or Mirliton (female), Toy Soldier, Spanish (male). Dancers must be available to join our Wed 7:30-9:00pm company class beginning in Oct.

We are especially be interested in dancers who would be interested in apprenticing to teach in our children's program, subbing as needed, and taking over classes in Fall 2017 and possibly as early as Spring 2017.
