Trisha Brown Dance Company is dedicated to the creation, performance, and preservation of the work of Trisha Brown.  TBDC is currently accepting applications for fall/winter internships in the following departments:

Archive

Assist the Archivist in maintaining the company’s vast archival collection including audiovisual, paper, and photographic material; perform basic video duplication and editing to support the Artistic, Development, Education, and Marketing departments.

Company Management

Responsibilities include assisting with administrative tasks, updating the company’s U.S. presenter database and some light correspondence.

Development

Work collaboratively with the Development Director to identify and track funders; assist in execution of the company’s annual gala; plan and execute donor cultivation activities such as studio visits and archive presentations; perform Raisers Edge clean-up as assigned.

Education

Assist with the administration and marketing of educational programs as well as provide on-site logistical support with classes and workshops.

Applicants must be reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, have an interest in dance and dance history, and must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours a week.  TBDC internships are unpaid volunteer positions. Students are welcome to apply, and we will work with schools to have you obtain course credit. Volunteers may take TBDC weekly classes free of charge. Please send a cover letter & resume that includes a start date to admin@trishabrowncompany.org.
