Private dance studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn is looking for talented tap dance teachers!  In particular, we need occasional subs to fill in on Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30.  This is a part-time/as needed position, but for the right candidate it could be the stepping stone to a more permanent position.  There is also the potential to fill in or start as a new instructor on other days and times as well. 

Candidates should be well versed in tap dance technique (ideally both classical broadway and rhythm tap styles) and have at least 2-3 years teaching experience with kids ages 7-13.  Candidates must be creative and LOVE to teach children.  Experience choreographing on kids is a big plus! 

Class sizes are small (approximately 5-7 per class), 1 hour long, and the students are HIGHLY motivated and wonderful to work with.  I have been teaching at this studio for 10 years and love it there.
