RudduR Dance Summer 2017 Internship Program

RudduR Dance is looking for a qualified arts administraiton interns who specializes in development.  However, throughout the duration of the RudduR Dance’s Internship Program, all interns shall have an opportunity to work in all aspects of Arts Administration.  While there is no immediate financial compensation available to interns, college credit may be arranged and there is a potential.  Current college students seeking a degree in Arts Administration are encouraged to apply. 

 

Important Dates:

Training & Orientation - Thursday, June 1st and Friday, June 2nd

Start date - Monday, June 5th

Holiday break - Monday, July 3rd to Wednesday, July 5th

End date - Wednesday,  August 16th

Weekly Schedule - Monday thru Thursday 10:00 AM to 6:00PM and Fridays 10:00 AM to 1:30PM

Company Description

RudduR Dance is a fiscally sponsored contemporary dance company founded in 2015 located in New York City, NY.  Its mission is to use contemporary ballet and theatricality to create performances reflective of society.  Artistic director and resident choreographer Christopher Rudd guides this mission by seamlessly fusing different styles of dance including oftentimes the aerial artistries.  One of the main objectives is to investigate themes of the human condition, emphasizing what unites us.  The goals include increasing and showcasing original works while augmenting an awareness of and an appreciation for American dance and culture by presenting both nationally and abroad.  Guided by this mandate, RudduR Dance has performed original works in New York, Florida, Texas, Utah, France, Trinidad & Tobago, and Burkina Faso, Africa.
