ADC’s Guest Artist Showcase; See and Be Seen is produced by ADC to highlight NYC-based professional dancers. The ‘G.A.S.’ provides dancers the unique environment to network, hone their craft, and work closely with professional choreographers. The dancers are seen by a panel of distinguished dance professionals, receive feedback and the potential to gain employment!

Rehearsals will take place during a two week period 9/5-9/17.

Tech&Show 9/17, 4-8pm.

 

*Upon acceptance dancers will pay a minimal participation fee of $25. In addition; To keep artist costs minimal, Dancers will receive four $25 tix to sell OR in place of selling the tickets you can choose to pay an upfront fee of $125.

4 Choreographers will set work during a 2 week period, approximately 12hrs of rehearsal, on carefully selected Guest Artists who have shown promise, talent, and commitment to the dance field. Dancers will then perform in a culminating Showcase for a Professional Dance Industry Panel. The performance will be followed by a meet and greet reception, providing a positive forum for informal feedback and networking. The rehearsal process features a Workshop Component where participants will take a combined class with all 4 Choreographers.
