VALLETO is seeking a female dancer for an apprentice position. Apprentice will take part in the creation of our 2017 season, and additional events. Apprentice will be compensated with performance pay.

Those who choose to audition should have a strong ballet and contemporary background, and also have experience with improvisational methods. We are looking for dance artists who are willing to challenge themselves in the creative process of our next season. We are seeking creative dancers with drive, passion, endurance, and commitment to the process. Our repertory is very physical and emotionally driven.

We rehearse 3-4 times per week. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings at 6-8pm or 8-10pm, as well as Saturdays and Sundays (alternating between 10-2pm and 6-8pm). When performances or events are close, we will rehearse on weekdays evenings.

AUDITION DATE: Saturday August 19th, 2017

LOCATION: 280 BROADWAY GIBNEY DANCE 

SCHEDULE: Registration and Arrival: 10am-10:30am / 10:30-11am a??Individual Warm up

Audition: 11:00am to 2:00pm
