Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana is seeking a Stage Manager for the upcoming National Tour from February 7 – March 28, 2018. The ideal candidate has experience working with Dance touring, has Driver’s license and feels comfortable driving common vans and 10 passenger vans.

 

Knowing Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.

 

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Be right hand to Associate Artistic Director.

• Advance show to venues as needed.

• Learn all cues -call show.

• Attend all rehearsals as needed.

• Be present on stage during tech rehearsals/sound check.

• Making/confirming all intercity travel arrangements, including hotels, flights, and rental cars.

• Drive vehicles as needed transporting dancers and musicians to venues, classes, meals, etc.

• Setting up and striking all wardrobe and laundry before/after shows as needed.

• Supervising local wardrobe workers, anticipating any issues that may arise and tending to them.

• Advancing hospitality requirements to all venues

• Setting up company video camera to record performances

 

Fees: The position includes a weekly salary, per diem, travel and hotel accommodations.
