Genesee Dance Theatre, the premiere ballet company of the Genesee Valley, seeks a non-union male ballet dancer for performances of "The Nutcracker" December 2nd - 3rd and/or December 8 - 10 (need not be available both weekends). Men must have strong ballet technique and partnering experience. Rehearsals will take place in Perry, NY with performances in Perry, NY and Wellsville, NY. This is an intimate, abridged staging of the classic ballet designed to be accessible for rural audiences of all ages. Performance pay is provided along with travel compensation from NYC area, housing and per diem.
