BABEL is a NYC-based contemporary dance company in pursuit of what is true, just, and beautiful.

We partner with social justice organizations to create custom-made work, whether live or filmed, that is used at their fundraisers, conferences, or on social media in order to increase the rate of which they make an impact.

We are seeking to build a diverse pool of dancers to be able to choose from according to the individual needs of each project. Also, we are hoping to fill a few slots for new dancers to join our core team.

We are looking for dancers who:

- Are committed and excited to research and truthfully embody the causes we are working on.

- Have a high emotional intelligence and ability to perform.

- Have a strong technical background while still being able to be natural/human.

- 20-minute interviews with applicants*

- Select applicants will be invited to join us for a free 2 hour workshop
