James Sewell Ballet (JSB) is looking for experienced male and female dancers for its 2018/2019 season. JSB is a contemporary ballet company based in Minneapolis, MN, consisting of dancers who are willing to challenge their physical limits and play with the boundaries of ballet. The company performs three full programs a year, in addition to smaller and tour engagements. Dancers are expected to serve as teaching artists in town and during residency activities, and may also have the opportunity to choreograph for the company.

Both men and women should be skilled in classical ballet, and women need to be proficient en pointe. Applicants should be diversely-qualified, with experience in modern and contemporary dance, improvisation, and other forms.
