The 2018 Collaborations in Dance Festival team is looking for interdisciplinary works that unearth new ways to experience dance. We’re interested in pieces that live at the intersection of movement and technology/activism/storytelling/visual art/music/film, etc. What excites us are projects that: transform architecture, experiment with time, challenge traditional structures, and come to fruition through a rigorous practice.

To celebrate the festival's 10th anniversary, the previous 1-week program will be expanded to two weeks and will incorporate both short- and long-form works. For this application, we are seeking short works only, up to 15 minutes max.

Performances featuring short-form works will run on September 13, 15, 20, and 22, 2018 in Triskelion Arts' 88-seat theater in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. ALL SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED, and will be chosen on the basis of quality of work, nature of the collaboration, and appropriateness for the event.
