Seeking dancers with contemporary technique, partnering skills, devising experience, and a strong interest in storytelling for the development of a new immersive show.

Specifically seeking:

Doctor (male): studies dreams but cannot rememeber his own; strong partnering skills and experience with text a plus

Dressmaker (Doctor's Patient, male): an introverted creative who is nearing the completion of his masterpiece; strong partnering skills and experience with text a plus

Engineer (Doctor's Patient, male): an academic who struggles with nightmares; unbound and chaotic in dreams, stiff and controlled in waking life; experience with spoken text a plus

Wild Woman (Doctor's Patient, female): "Earth Mother" archetype; a mentor, shaman, trickster; strong, grounded presence; must be comfortable with extensive audience interaction; strong partnering sklls and experience with spoken text a plus

Mute Girl (Doctor's Patient, female): to play teen; an embodiment of childlike curiousity and impulse, she is also remarkably kind and empathetic; strong partnering a must

Rehearses May 31 10:00-1:00, June 2 10:00-1:00, June 4 10:00-2:00, and two additional hours (individual) between May 31-June 3. Performs the evenings of June 5 and 6 on the UWS.
