An upcoming Netflix series called RAISING DION is searching for 6-11 year old female wheelchair users who would like to submit a video audition for the role of ESPERANZA. They do not need to have acting experience to audition. Please see the details below and feel free to pass this along to anyone who might be interested.

Log Line: A widowed single mom discovers that her son has super powers and tries to figure out how to raise him safely and responsibly.

[ESPERANZA] Female, 7 years old, any ethnicity. Esperanza is a wheelchair user, a "not-cool" kid at Dion's new school who actually welcomes him. She is no-nonsense, hilarious and turns out to be a really cool kid and good friend to Dion... SERIES REGULAR. AS PART OF OUR ONGOING COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY, WE SEEK TO CAST THIS AS AUTHENTICALLY AS POSSIBLE SO STRONGLY ENCOURAGE SUBMISSIONS OF PERFORMERS WITH DISABILITIES WHO ARE WHEELCHAIR USERS.
