CHILDREN’S MODERN DANCE & BALLET TEACHERS WANTED

Spoke the Hub Dancing, one of Brooklyn’s oldest and finest community dance and arts organizations, is seeking two experienced young artists’ dance teachers for our afterschool programs in Park Slope this Fall.

Instructors must have a strong dance background, have experience teaching children and love to work with kids, be a team player, deal well with parents, and have recent teaching references.  Must be available on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from September through June. 

Ballet instructors must be able to teach K-1 "Creative Ballet" through "Pointe".  Professional performing experience a plus.

Modern Dance instructors must be able to teach technique and improvisation, as well as speak to the history of modern and post-modern dance.   Professional performance and choreography experience a plus.

We are most interested in dance educators interested in making a longer term commitment and a teaching “home” for themselves in Brooklyn;  thus, local Brooklyn residents preferred.

Fall classes begin September 10th.
