Who are we?

Proteo Media + Performance produces creative experiences that engage live performers, film, projections, installations and other forms of visual/digital data. Headed by Kathleen Kelley and a team of collaborators across art forms, our work explores rich intersections between technology and the the body.  We value collective ways of making and alternative support structures for art practices. We recently premiered an interactive exhibition at the Gowanus Loft, and other recent live works have shown at the Center for Performance Research, Triskelion Arts, Green Space, the SOAK Festival, the CURRENT SESSIONS, Nimbus OFFLINE series, and HATCH series. Recent videos have shown in TriQuarterly Literary Journal, Philly FringeArts Digital Fringe Festival, Moving Poems blog, Small Po[r]tions Intermedia Literary Journal, and the Rutgers University Momentum Technology Videos Festival.

 

What are we looking for?

Proteo Media + Performance is currently accepting applicants for fall/winter that runs from September 1st- December 31st with a commitment of 5hrs/wk (mostly remote work.) We are looking for dedicated and energetic interns for marketing/social media, production/tech and planning/development. We are also looking for assistance during the run of shows, and long term assistance for upcoming shows in the winter. Interns will receive free tickets to upcoming shows and opening night parties, free attendance to upcoming Proteo classes/workshops/rehearsals, and for ongoing interns, we can help you receive college credit.
