Dancewave Seeks Chinese Dance Teacher for Work in School/Centers.   Public School

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an upbeat and knowledgeable Teaching Artists for K-12 students, adults and seniors . We are looking for someone who can teach a Chinese Dance. The right candidate will have experience in a public school setting, be highly organized and have strong class management skills. This is an exciting and rewarding position for a dancer who wants to engage with local and underserved communities! Our residencies take place in all 5 NYC boroughs.

 

ABOUT D-WAVE IN MOTION: Dancewave brings high quality arts education residencies based on NYC standards and best practices. We offer New York City schools the opportunity to craft an arts in education program customized to meet the specific needs of their school curriculum and students abilities through the D-Wave in Motion program.

Our in-school residencies encompass a variety of dance genres and are offered both within school hours and/or during after school programs. Our program is available year-round and can last anywhere from a two-day workshop/master class to a year-long residency.
