Perform at SMUSH Gallery alongside new work from Katelyn Halpern & Dancers!

One evening Thursday & Friday, April 25-26, 2019
The time commitment for performers: 5:00-10:30p (tech and performance same day)
Performance: 8:00p
Location: 340 Summit Ave, Jersey City (10 minutes' walk from the Journal Square PATH station)

 Know Before You Apply:

- This event is for movement-based performance (broad interpretations welcome!)
- $15 application fee, no production fee.
- 12 to 30-minute performances preferred. 
- The venue is small (9''x16' performance space, 3/4 thrust style) and low tech (no theatrical lighting). A ceiling mounted projector and sound system are provided. 
- Additional lighting, set, and sound amplification may be provided by the artist with approval from the gallery. 
- Performers and choreographers are kindly asked to stay for the entire performance and the beginning of the reception.
- SMUSH Gallery may take informal photographs or short videos of the performance; these will be shared with performers.
- Documentation (video, photo) may be arranged in collaboration with the company. 
- Applications will be accepted through 11:59 PM Friday, February 22, 2019; notification will be given by Friday, March 1, 2019
