SPRINGbreak ChoreoFest is an incubator for modern and contemporary dance choreography for emerging and seasoned artists.
The program takes place Wednesday March 27 through Sunday March 31, 2019, providing dancers and 10 choreographers with 8 hours of rehearsal time to create a new dance work-in-progress. All choreography must be created within this week, though ideas and movement sequences may be preconceived and brought in to workshop.
These pieces will then be shown in the Gordon Gamm Theater at the Dairy Arts Center with full production on Sunday March 31, 2019 at 6:30pm, open to the public.

The purpose is not to have a complete work by the end of the week, but the start of something that will then grow independently. We are interested to see the spark of creative ideas and foster networking amongst dance artists nationwide.

All participants in two or more rehearsals each day will receive complimentary lunch daily.
Out-of-town artists must be willing to pay for their own flights, accommodation, and daily expenses.
