RudduR Dance Seeks Arts Administration Intern for Immediate Hire:

RudduR Dance seeks college students and graduates interested in obtaining hands-on experience in Arts Administration.  Internships are unpaid with the opportunity to grow into a paid position and can be taken for academic credit.  Willing to write exit review/evaluation.  

The ideal candidate would have responsibilities in all aspects of arts administration - marketing, development, company management, communications, public relations, etc. - but will focus one or two areas that is best suited for the Company’s need and the inclination of the candidate.  The ideal candidate can commit to a minimum of 15 hours a week commitment.  Although not required, Spanish literate indiviuals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Create signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc. 
- Provide support to social media efforts to target new audiences.
- Assist with special events to promote company and increase attendance;
- Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials;
- Collaborate on team presentations for management and clients;
- Support in the development of our fundraising campaigns;
- Support in our grant-seeking, grant-writing, LOIs, and submissions of foundation, corporate, and government grant proposals and final reports;
- Support in identifying new funding and choreographic opportunities;
- Updating development calendar and timelines;
- Cultivation of and materials for potential donors/sponsors;
- Track and process incoming donations, thank you/ acknowledgement letters, and mailing list;
- Assist with special events including fundraisers, RudduR Dance productions/performances, tours, residencies, rehearsals, cultivations, and community engagement activities;
- Social media and website updates, production of monthly newsletter, and occasional basic video filming and editing.

Requirements:

- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Arts Administration;
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills;
- Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential;
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable;
- Basic video editing skills.

Experience Preferred but not required.
