Application is now open for the 2nd Queerly Contemporary Festival 2019, kicking off Pride month in NYC for the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall & New York hosting World Pride. This years Festival is Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at the 14th Street Y in New York City. Queerly Contemporary is an evening of LGBTQ+ dance makers investigating and celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQ+ experience and voices in contemporary dance making. The Festival seeks new or repertory works in all forms, solo or groups, as well as multidisciplinary works based in movement, for submission from artists that identify as LGBTQ+. Selected artists will receive a performance fee. Application Closes Sunday March 24th 11:59pm.
