Application is now open for the 2nd Queerly Contemporary Festival 2019, kicking off Pride month in NYC for the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall & New York hosting World Pride. This years Festival is Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at the 14th Street Y in New York City. Queerly Contemporary is an evening of LGBTQ+ dance makers investigating and celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQ+ experience and voices in contemporary dance making. The Festival seeks new or repertory works in all forms, solo or groups, as well as multidisciplinary works based in movement, for submission from artists that identify as LGBTQ+. Selected artists will receive a performance fee. Application Closes Sunday March 24th 11:59pm. Aline Pilates Mat Teacher Training: Summer Intensive & Comprehensive Certification Program Aline is offering Teacher Training this summer! Whether you want to deepen your practice or begin the path toward teaching, this program offers a focused, immersive experience in the foundations of the classical Pilates method. Aline will be accepting a small, intimate group to ensure personalized guidance and support throughout the training. Schedule (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) • June 20–21 — Beginner Mat • July 25–26 — Intermediate Mat Location: 236 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 Investment: $450 per weekend You do not need to commit to both weekends—you are welcome to choose the session that best fits your goals. This one-year, 600+ hour program covers all Pilates apparatus and offers a complete, in-depth training experience. Flexible options are available to complete Mat training at Aline or through another approved program. Space is limited- secure your spot and take the next step in your teaching journey!
