Screendance Festival 2019

The DanceBARN ScreenDANCE Festival takes place every year during the DanceBARN Festival. Official selections for the ScreenDANCE Festival are presented during a free outdoor screening at the ArtSTREAM Alley in Battle Lake, Minnesota. Any screendances made during the festival also premiere during the showing.

NEW this year, we are excited to welcome a panel of local jurors who will help select this year's screenings. We have also added a discounted submission category for screendances made in Minnesota!

DanceBARN seeks screendance submissions under 15 minutes in length, made for the screen. Submissions must, in some way, employ both choreographic concepts and the language of film. Documentation of live performances will not be accepted.

Regular Deadline: April 1, 2019 - $20
Extended Deadline: May 31, 2019 - $30
Notification: July 1, 2019

Aline Pilates Mat Teacher Training: Summer Intensive & Comprehensive Certification Program Aline is offering Teacher Training this summer! Whether you want to deepen your practice or begin the path toward teaching, this program offers a focused, immersive experience in the foundations of the classical Pilates method. Aline will be accepting a small, intimate group to ensure personalized guidance and support throughout the training. Schedule (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) • June 20–21 — Beginner Mat • July 25–26 — Intermediate Mat Location: 236 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 Investment: $450 per weekend You do not need to commit to both weekends—you are welcome to choose the session that best fits your goals.
