Start each day with four GALLIMasters classes by esteemed artists in the field! Master classes led by Gallim, Omri Drumlevich and Navarra Novy-Williams connect you to their movement language, technique, and body of work in a studio class setting.

Registration: $25 each class, $90 for four.

OMRI DRUMLEVICH
GALLIMasters 3/19, 10AM-12PM
Omri Drumlevich was a member of the renowned Batsheva Dance Company from 2012-2017. While in the company, he performed works by Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, and Roy Assaf. He has choreographed works for the Batsheva Ensemble and Batsheva Dance Company dancers and created multi-disciplinary works at the Tel Aviv Museum and elsewhere; he is a longtime teacher of Gaga, Naharin’s movement language, teaching in Tel Aviv and internationally.

 

NAVARRA NOVY-WILLIAMS
GALLIMasters 3/21, 10AM-12PM

Navarra Novy-Williams is a New York City based dancer, teacher and maker. Formerly of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal; The Batsheva Ensemble, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, and Ballet of Difference. She has performed original work by Mauro Bigonzetti, Stijn Celis, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Alexander Eckman, Emanuel Gat, Ohad Naharin, Crystal Pite, Hofesh Schecter, Richard Siegal, Jo Stromgren, and Shen Wei, et al. Navarra was in the original creations of Always Now and Clear&Sweet by zoe|juniper, and Orpheus Unsung by Steven Mackey and directed by Mark DeChiazza. She dances with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet and has worked with Manuel Vignoulle M|Motions, the Francesca Harper Project, Mary John Frank, Sonya Tayeh, Gregory Dolbashian, and Bryan Arias. She has recently presented her own work with the Higher Grounds Festival in the United Palace, The Danza Highbridge Festival, and in STUFFED at Judson Church. She is currently exploring 360º video technology in site specific work. Navarra teaches Gaga, ballet, and contemporary improvisation at universities and studios across the United States. She graduated from the Juilliard School with a BFA in Dance in 2006 and is currently completing a masters degree in Arts Management at the New School.

GALLIM REPERTORY EXTENSION

Learn Gallim Repertory from Andrea Miller and company!

Experience what has been described as visceral and impossible to look away from during this four-day intensive. Immersed in an intimate professional company environment, yuo'll work one-on-one with Artistic Director Andrea Miller and Gallim company members to learn excerpts of our most acclaimed works. 

Repertory Extension students receive complimentary access to that week's GALLIMasters classes!

Registration: $350 Tuition + $50 Registration Fee. Capacity is limited number of advanced and professional-level dancers. Applicants must submit a resume, headshot, and video link of their dancing to be considered. See application deadlines below!

HOW TO APPLY & QUALIFICATIONS

To apply for Gallim’s Repertory Extension, please submit a headshot, resume, and video link to auditions@gallimdance.com with “2019 REP EXTENSION_YOUR NAME” as the subject line.

The Rep Extension is open to all pre-professional and professional dancers. Gallim’s offerings are designed for dancers who have comprehensive training in classical, modern, and contemporary dance.

To maintain an intimate environment, intensive capacity is 35 students. You must be 18 years of age to participate.

All registration payments are non-refundable. Registration to GALLIMasters will continue to be accepted after the Rep Extension deadline has passed.
