looseKANONdance is seeking 2 dance artists for our upcoming evening-length work on August 17th at Judson Memorial Church.

looseKANONdance is a non-profit boutique contemporary dance company based in NYC founded by Kanon Sapp. looseKANONdance houses a selective group of esteemed artists all who lend their outside talents to the beneficial whole of looseKANONdance.

looseKANONdance has shown work all over NYC, notable venues and performances include The American Dance Guild at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater, Peridance Capezio Center’s APEX, UnderExposed at The Dixon Place, curated by Doug Post, Center for Performance Research, Jessica Chen’s TRANSLATE (the voices of dance) FESTIVAL at The Dixon Place. Additionally, looseKANONdance completed two separate choreographic residencies with Nimbus Dance Works.  This past fall, looseKANONdance was selected out of one hundred applicants as the Eryc Taylor Dance New Choreographers Grant Awardee to create new work.
