DanceBoissiere is looking for an engaging, experienced, female-identifying performer to take part in our first evening-length performance this September 19, 20, and 21st. This is a paid project.

Dancer/performer should be skilled in partnering, floor work and contemporary dance styles and be open to improvisation and collaboration. Most importantly, the performer is warm, energetic, and playful and available for rehearsals on Tuesdays from 2-5pm in Manhattan. Supplemental rehearsals also Mondays 10-12pm in Manhattan. 

Dancers of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

Please send your resume and a short clip (less than 3 min) of you dancing to info@danceboissiere.com. If you have clips of partnering work, please send as well. Selected dancers will be invited to a rehearsal. 

About Us

DB crafts dance works through a female lens, and portray the female body as powerful, capable, and lush. We tell stories on the stage, camera, and in alternative spaces. Our first evening-length show will be an immersive performance in a historical brownstone in Harlem.
