Now accepting submissions for female filmmakers to join a 2 week residency August 19th-31st at Brooklyn Studios for Dance in Clinton Hill. There are 2 spots available for the residency. The space will be shared with a total of 4 female filmmakers, to create and shoot short dance/movement based films during that time period. Each of the films will premiere at BKSD in December 2019. Submission deadline is June 14th, 2019. 

To submit please provide previous work samples (in any genre) and a short top level treatment of what you would like to shoot to femmelabs@gmail.com. You will need to provide your own dancers/actors and equipment. All films created must be edited and finalized within three months upon the residency's completion. Films can be anywhere from 3-15 minutes in length. No application fee.
