Artistic Director Ellen Sickenberger of DEPTH Dance is seeking 1-2 new performers for an upcoming split-bill performance in November. Interested artists should be trained contemporary dancers with strong partnering skills, floor work, and stage presence.

Auditions will take place in workshop-form on three dates:

Wed, Sept 25  |  11am-1pm

Thurs, Oct 3  |  11am-12:30pm

Sun, Oct 6  |  4pm-6pm

SHOW DATES: Nov 23 & 24

Rehearsals will generally be 3-6 hours a week and will be mostly on Saturdays and Sundays, late afternoon.

RSVP to depthdance@gmail.com with your headshot, resumé, and preferred date of attendance (please choose ONE) to recieve more information. The suggested donation is $10 per class, payable at the door. We want these workshops to be accessible to all artists and the donation is truly a suggestion.

Ellen's work has been described as "hauntingly beautiful" and "captivatingly chilling" [BWW Reviews]. "True to its name, DEPTH dance works to uncover the expanse of movements potential in a way that could only come from working together with sensitivity and consideration" [Cecly Placenti - TiLLT Magazine]. Her choreography uses athletic, theatrical, and anthropomorphous movement to create a social commentary. The company emphasizes humanism and explores depth psychology; the study of unconscious mental processes and motives; psychoanalytic practice. DEPTH Dance relates to its audience by promoting togetherness through display of flaws and ugliness.
